Ava Claire S. Franquez is currently 3 months old and her parents are Carmela & Michael Franquez.
Ava was born with a heart murmur and was diagnosed with a large Ventricular Septal Defect ( large hole in her heart). Ava has been taking Diuretics since she was 7 days old to help ease the elevated pressure in her heart chambers, along with that she has also been on fortified feedings to help gain weight to prevent symptoms of heart failure. Ava is scheduled to under go heart surgery to patch the hole in May 2021 at Children's Hospital, Los Angeles since Guam does not have a Pediatric Cardiologist. Escorting Ava would be her parents.
