Hi my name is Dorothy, I'm fundraising for myself and my family. I'm 62 years old and I live with my two daughters and two granddaughters. I'm the main income for my household and my eldest daughter is the secondary income. Since I've been in the hospital my family has been struggling financially. My eldest works for time but doesn't make enough to cover us financially. My youngest has is looking for work but yet hasn't found one yet. So, she stays at home and takes care of everyone and everything while my eldest and I work. We would really appreciate any donations that we receive. What your donations are going to is to help with our utilities, rent, groceries, animal food, medications and gas for our vehicles.
What happened is in September of this year I fell and broke my left arm. I broke the humerous head of my left arm. I've been in and out of a few ICUs due to the pain of it. In November I fell on it again and it began to swell really bad. I didn't think nothing of it until the swelling got worse. I went to the hospital the beginning of December. I was told that the bone had made shards ( I guess from the 2nd fall) and that the shards created an infection. I've been in the hospital since then and had 3 surgeries to clear out the infection. I haven't had a successful one yet to clear the infection. My family and I was upset about not being able to spend time together on Christmas or New years this year since I'm in the hospital.
