The Adoption of our son Micah....

"Can't tell OUR story unless we walk through the plot...." This has been our family motto for the last four years since we decided that adoption was a path we were willing to walk. In October 2012, a very loving set of bio-parents choose adoption for their unborn child but, most importantly they choose us to raise their child. On June 21 2013, our lives changed forever when OUR son Micah Paul King was born. Going through the pregnancy, getting the room ready, preparing for this Little Man was the easy part...Walking through all the steps of the adoption has been the hardest, due to Micah being Native. Our lawyer has been working very hard, but the cost of his services keep going up as we have to walk through a very difficult process for the adoption of a native child. We believe OUR God for a miracle....as we all know He is BIGGER than the system! Micah's name means, "Who, but God...." which is fitting for our family as we take one step at a time.
