Reynolds Playground
Donazione protetta
We need your help raising the last $4,500 to complete the playground.
The Town of Norwell is renovating Reynolds Playground, a pocket park located in the quaint Jacobs Pond neighborhood.
About the Playground/Neighborhood. Reynolds is a high-use play space for the 80 families who live in the neighborhood plus others in walking distance who cannot use school playgrounds when school is in session. The Recreation Department anticipates the day when summer camp programming can be hosted at Reynolds.
What We Have. The Board of Selectmen, Rec Department, Rec Committee, and the Neighborhood Association want an improved Reynolds, which was last updated in 1999 and is derelict. More than $96,00 in Community Preservation Act (CPA) and Recreation Department funds has been secured:
a multi-piece, multi-age play structure will be replaced with new equipment situated on a new rubber footprint
an aging basketball court will be resurfaced and worn hoops will be replaced
What We Need. Street-side fencing, benches, and picnic tables—the items that are unavailable through the CPA or Rec Department—cost $6,000. We have already raised $1,500, so please help us raise the remaining $4,500.
What You Can Do. Any donation with help. Every little bit counts.
Thank you!
