Last week a close friend received devastating news about her seven year old child.

Symptoms started only five weeks ago a cold developed into a collapsed lung which he received hospital treatment and was sent home. He has now been re-admitted and they have found a rapidly growing malignant tumour which has already grown covering a third of his little chest.

Currently he is too poorly for chemo.

Hospital stays, food, parking and travel and putting life of hold is not cheap and my friend is still in the state of shock. Desperately spending every minute at the hospital whilst trying to maintain family to ensure the right balance for her other child.

My friend is a very proud and private person a true gem wonderful single mum, who went against GP's advise and sought out a second opinion - fantastic motherly instincts she is extremely shy and would never ask for help in this way. But whatever the funds are used for towards supporting his recovery i am willing to get a telling off for setting up this page!
