Help Single Mom With Bills

Hi, my name is Kim and I am a single mother of two amazing children, ages 9 and 11.

Over the past three years we have experienced a lack of affordable housing, and while we are finally in a place of our own, I am struggling to make ends meet. I absolutely love working full-time as a teacher and special needs paraprofessional, but my wages alone simply aren't enough to cover all of our expenses. With winter upon us, I am especially concerned about paying for our housing, heating, and the need for new tires on my vehicle.

Family has been able to help us get into a small home, but they are unable to help us any further, financially. I have asked the father of my children for help, but he has yet to do so. He was ordered by a judge to pay me thousands of dollars in back child-support, but it has been several years since he made a payment toward that amount.

I do not like the idea of asking for handouts, but I truly do need help getting caught up on bills. I am a hard worker, I serve my community on a daily basis, and I thrive helping others become the best version of themselves.

I know the holidays are a tough time financially for so many people, but I would greatly appreciate any financial help given to help us get through the winter.
