Most of you know longtime Bay Area salsa dancer Amanda Hanes. She is a beautiful, bubbly 25 year old with a heart of gold. And she needs a liver transplant very very soon.

This is her story:

At nine weeks old, I was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia. Doctors informed my family I was in dire need a liver transplant, or I would die. Fortunately at fifteen months, I was given a second chance to live. Today I am twenty five years old and thankful for every breath; however, my body is in a state of chronic rejection. My immune system is destroying my liver. L
ife’s roller coaster will come to an abrupt end for me, if I don’t receive another liver transplant.
