Tom aka @3betpanda is a Las Vegas local and full time poker player who was shot in an attempted robbery while visiting some fellow poker players in Austin, Texas. 

Initially Tom's injuries were life threatening but thanks to the medical team he is now in stable condition. He still have quite the hospital stay and road to recovery ahead of him. At this point, it would be hard to estimate the costs for a situation like this so the "goal" amount may be adjusted at a later date. 

If you know Tom, he is not only one of the most talented cash players I know, he is also top 5 most caring and genuine people I have ever met. He deserves to be reminded that there are good people in this world who support him.
