Dear friends,                                                                                            Long time resident,family man,previous member of woodstock rescue squad and allround great guy Matt Robinson had a serious health setback. As i write this plans are being made to send him to Albany Medical Center.For the 30 years i have known Matt and his wife Helen they have always been an amazing part of woodstock.Married 43 years ago,they chose 33 years ago to move to Woodstock and raised 2 amazing children here.Many of you will remember Matt who worked a second job nights at Joyous Lake.Matt and  and Helen have spent many years helping many in the community.Last week Matt collapsed at home and was rushed to kingston hospital by the same volunteer rescue squad the he had proudly served.Today Matt is on a resperator and at the moment paralyzed from the neck down.Doctors in Albany are hopeful that with surgery Matt will regain movement and be able to breath on his own.The costs are mounting rapidly and he and his wife Helen need our help and prayers.Iam asking you today to give what you can and please share this post.No one should have to face this battle alone.The enourmous stress and pressure caused by illness should never be compounded by the real pressures of affording proper care.Donations can be made on this site or at jean turmo ltd. in Woodstock or at ulster savings bank.When Matt first joined Woodstock Rescue Squad it as to give his time to the community he and his family have called home.We are their family and they need us right now.Please help and please share.
