Great news everybody!!!
I've been selected to compete in Miss Oregon USA 2017, this October , a huge step in my professional career.

My pageant dreams first began to manifest at the age of 7, and I can still remember those adolescent days of fantasizing how I would captivate the judges with my solution to ending hunger in third world countries. While I am far removed from those days of playing make pretend, my passion for helping those that are impoverished and less fortunate has remained. At some point my pageant dream faded into obscurity in lieu of pursuing my developing eye and talent for fashion, only to be revived by a close family member. It was through his constant motivation, as he believed that my success in designing evening gowns would be launched through pageantry, and reaffirmation of the importance of never giving up, that my childhood dream begin to once again take center stage in my heart. Tragically, he recently passed away before being able to witness how the seed he helped to replant has led to my being selected as one of the applicants that have been advanced to compete for the 2017 Miss Oregon USA.
This opportunity will broaden my platform while also strengthening my confidence in the public eye as I move forward with living my dream of inspiring and making positive impacts in the lives of others.
Your support would be much appreciated, as the goal of this competition is to be able raise charitable donations from various sources in support of your mission.
The funds will be used to cover the costs needed to prepare and participate in the anticipated competition.
