Our theme this year is St. Peter Patriots are ONE!!!
We are all a part of a great big family. What a blessing it is as brothers and sisters in Christ to share together the joyful ness and gift of God's Grace. It's awesome to come together during great and happy times but we also need to pull together during tough times. As many know and some do not we have a fellow brother and sister in our family that is going through a tough time. Mrs. Melissa Murray is in the fight for her life and we need to rally around her and her family. She was diagnosed with mesothelioma and is recovering from surgery so she can continue to receive treatment for this awful disease. Her husband, Mr. Jason Murray, is one of our beloved 7th grade teachers here at St. Peter Macomb and puts in countless hours towards our kids and fundraisers we have. His heart for his Lord and the kids are as big as his smile and we need to rally around them. His son, Gabe, is in my daughters 4th grade class with Mrs. Stathakis and he always has a smile on his face as well and is always trying to make someone laugh. And the youngest Murray, Alex, is in Mrs. Washburn's Kindergarten. I set this up to try and ease some of the financial strain due to medical bills and care for Melissa as well as any other necessities when Jason needs time to be with his wife and boys!!!
