Hi everyone,

I created this gofundme for my parents.

On September 8th, 2021 my father, Phillip, suffered a severe stroke followed by another stroke 2 days later (TIA followed by an major Hemmorhagic stroke and then an ischemic stroke) and is currently in LTAC (Long Term Acute Care). Prior to LTAC he was in ICU for about a month.

The strokes my father suffered affected his vision, speech and movement. Fortunately, my father is still pretty coherent and is getting better, making new strides everyday. Unfortunately, we are unsure if his vision will ever return fully and he will likely be disabled for the rest of his life.

My mother, Kirsten, the absolute love of my dads life, since highschool, has been at the hospital everyday supporting my father.

They own a business together, Wrestling with Antiques. With my father disabled and the unknown about his vision, as well as my mother being his caretaker, they are going to have to end the business.

We don't usually ask for help, but right now with some rough times and a long road of recovery my parents could use some support.
