Hi there! My name is Nicole Monnin and I am starting this campagin for a family that is very near and dear to my heart. Jenifer and Travis Ciceroni are my cousin in laws...which in all honesty I consider them my brother and sister in law.
As many of you may know, Travis is a firefighter with Indian River County and Jen is pretty much Wonder Woman...She was a 911 telecommunicator for the city of Sebastian, Florida and as of lately she has been studying her little behind off to get her nursing degree.
I am starting this campaign because they have really been through the ringer to say the least.
About a year ago Travis was injured while on a call with the fire department. His injury landed him on workmans comp and with a very extensive surgery on his back. Travis had his back surgery and has been healing up, but there is still a long road ahead of him. Just when things started to look up and settle after Trav's back surgery, another blow was handed to the family recently.
Jen. Our wonderful, amazing, crazy, fun, SNOWFLAKE, was recently given the news that she has Lymphoma. Doctors went in on 9/13/2016 to do exploratory surgery on a mass that was found in her Uterus. Her doctor at the Florida Hospital in Orlando was determined to figure out the cause of the mass. He managed to find out the cause <her lymph nodes> but has not given us much else until he gets more information from the biopsies.
I started this because this family has been through hell and back. Anyone who knows both of them knows they would give the shirt of their backs if they had to. I wanted a way to help them out, make sure they have everything they need in this time. Any little bit will help and they will be incredibly greatful!
Thank you again in advance and for all of your love and support!
