Matt has been diagnosed with debilitating arthritis in the spine and will require surgery. He has pushed on and has worked throughout most of this ordeal out of necessity but a recent fall on his way to work from the garage proved too much for him to handle and he will be out for some time. Matt’s medical bills have already left him in a very tough financial situation. After what’s left of his sick days, short term disability will kick in eventually but unfortunately it’s just too little to help him get through this.

Some folks have asked how they can help him. This page was set up for anyone that wishes to contribute and help Matt out during this very difficult time.

Matt is in good spirits and is hopeful to be back at work as soon as he is able to and the staff looks forward to discussing his beloved Mets!
