Katana's Drama program in the USA

My talented daughter has been selected for a Drama Program in Orlando, Florida, USA. She has been doing monthly skype or facetime calls since May with her mentors from Premiere. She has many monologues to practice and deliver.

As you can imagine this is not a cheap program . I have paid for the course and deposit for accommodation at the Swan and Dolphin - Disneyworld. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for Katana. She keeps telling me she will be rich and famous.... and doesn't have a backup plan as she is so committed to doing what she loves.

I find it difficult to ask for help, but I am asking now. Katana has made many sacrifices with my employment over the years, many years apart over my 12 year career. It's time for me to give back and I am hoping you could help me. As a single working parent finding so much money is difficult. I feel that Katana should not have to miss out on an amazing opportunity because we are a single income family. Again, once in a lifetime opportunity!

I am hoping to raise $AU5,000 toward her training and the required trip over to Orlando. I have already paid over $AU12,000, the training, accommodation and flights will cost around $18,000 plus meals etc. Katana will get to work intensively with 3 celebrities and have to do 10 showcases (6 acting and 4 modelling). Thankfully my Mum bought Tana a wondeful gift of an acting, modelling and deportment course last year. This course gave her much more confidence. She is hoping to meet some of the actors from Disney Channel and Nickelodeon (one actor from one of her favourite tv shows was at her second audition in Sydney).

We are intending on flying out on 16 Dec, this will allow Katana a couple of days to get over jet lag and be prepared for the intense program.

ANY assistance will be greatly appreciated... and who knows she may be the next Aussie on the big screen!
