Meg & Phil's IVF Fund

Before reading the title of this GoFundMe page many of you had no idea that Phil and I have been dealing with infertility. This is a very private and personal thing for us to share with you all. It is also very hard for us to ask for help but the truth is Phil and I need your help!! We thought we would put our story out there and maybe be able to come up with some of the money necessary for us to get the family we both desperately want!!
One year and five months ago we said our "I do's" and were so very happy to be starting our lives together with dreams of a family, which we started trying for right away!! Three months later we suddenly lost my dad. This was a HUGE loss in my life. Then six months later our lives were turned upside down again. We were told that we would most likely not be able to conceive on our own. After lots of thinking and research about both adoption and IVF we decided to try IVF. For those of you who haven't been through IVF it is the biggest emotional roller coaster!!! After the cycle was complete we had two embryos transferred but sadly neither of them would become a pregnancy. The embryos were not as good in quality as they like to see. This was extremely devasting to us. We felt like our dream wasn't going to happen. We had already taken out a loan to try IVF and thought how would we ever come up with the money to try again. We took some time to think everything over. After a few months of thinking about our future and talking to the doctors at Brigham & Women's, we decided we are not ready to give up on our dream!! This time we are trying something different with IVF and the doctors at Brigham and Women's believe we have a good chance of it working this time. For those of you who don't know I had to say goodbye to my dad at Brigham and Women's. I truely believe that our journey brought us to Brigham & Women's because I lost a very important person in my life there and now we are hoping to make our dreams come true there with the most important person in our lives.
