Help Send Lydia to Sing in Austria

Hi! My name is Lydia Heitman and I am a singer and a sophomore Music Therapy major at Shenandoah University. I'm looking forward to a career helping disabled and disadvantged children through music. In the meantime, I've just been presented with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I'm part of a choral ensemble that has been invited to travel to Salzburg, Austria this December for 10 days to perform at various venues and churches. The chorus has not had an opportunity like this in close to 30 years. But the cost for each chorus member is $3000, which includes the round-trip ticket, hotel , venue expenses, transportation, and a few meals. Since I'm going into a non-performance based field of music, I know that this may very well be my last opportunity to participate in making music at such a level. But it's out of reach. While I consider myself very fortunate to be studying at Shenandoah's fantastic music conservatory, my parents and I are maxed out covering the costs. I would love so much to be able to take advantage of this amazing opportunity to sing and perform in Austria. Any contribution would help make it happen. Thank you all so much for your support!
