Please help out our friend and co-worker, Kevin Noll.  
His house burnt to the ground last week.  Everyone is safe but they lost everything.

Once again I’ll say thank goodness no one was hurt.  The cat is still in the animal hospital, but he’s recovering.  Mark and the dogs are living at his boss's house.  Rob and I are staying at the Hampton Inn in Bartonsville, which is only a few miles from my office.  The Red Cross put us up in the hotel right away without any fuss.  The insurance company has been wonderful.  They said that they will keep in the hotel for the next 30 days, or longer until they find a rental house for us to live in.  They will pay for 12 months if needed.

Yesterday I spent all day with the adjustor and the fire inspector.  They clearly saw the cause of the fire.  Hot oil on the stove caused the fire.  They were surprised that Mark was able to rescue the two dogs.  They believe that he would have only been able to see one foot in front of him.  

The contents of the house is a total loss.  The adjustor is working on numbers to see if the house itself is a tear down, or a rebuild.  Not sure which I’m hoping for.  At this point I’m numb.
