Yesterday our friend, Dan Durbin, experienced a serious medical event. He was hospitalized at Coastal Carolina Hospital in Hardeeville but he is currently in transit to MUSC after doctors found that he was experiencing some cardiac issues today. He is stable but still in critical condition and unconscious. **UPDATE** Dan has been responsive and alert since Thursday August 11th. He is breathing on his own and communicating with his family. Doctors say he will probably need a defibrillator and will continue to assess his needs moving forward. Luke Durbin, Dan's son, is assisting his family with the disbursement of these funds. All funds raised will go to assist the family with the many expenses they will incur over the next weeks and months during Dan's recovery.
