We come to you with heavy hearts. It is hard to even find the right words to adequately describe what the past two years of our lives have been like. After many years of heartbreak, we were given the gift of parenthood by a precious four month old baby girl. She was so easy to love, and we were told that it would be a short path to adoption. Over the past 20 months, that path has become longer. The hardest part is watching her grow up, knowing she could be gone in a few days.  We watch her play, listen to her sing, all with the awareness that we could lose our baby girl. We are the only parents she knows...this is home for her. 

We we have been advised to hire a lawyer, as the final court date is three weeks away. When we saw the lawyer's estimated  bill we lost hope, we simply cannot afford that much money on our own. So, we decided to ask our friends and family for help. We want to be honest here, we may still lose her even with the help of an amazing legal team. We have prayed about sharing our story with you in hopes that a miracle will happen. Please donate what you can. If you can't donate, please share our story.
