Medial Fund For Angie Skinner

My name is Paul Chance; my fiancé Angela Skinner is at a point in her life where she desperately needs your help to get medical treatment that doctors here in Tucson cannot give her.  Her insurance will not cover most of treatment needed for her to recover and live a normal life.  It will require her to visit the Mayo clinic in Minnesota multiple times where she would receive multiple tests and see many doctors.  It is critical that she sees these doctors very soon.  We need to raise enough money to get her there as quickly as we can.  This beautiful woman has a heart of gold.  She is one of the most loving and caring person I know and gives so much of her time helping others in need.  I dearly love this wonderful woman and want so much for her to experience life the way God intended her to live. To live pain free.  You see, Angela is chronically ill and has been battling this since she was a young teenager.  Angie has multiple medial problems stemming from asthma she had as a young girl.  Because of her asthma, she contracted Valley Fever which put her into the hospital for a few weeks.  She nearly died. Doctors prescribed a short term dose of Prednisone and is still taking it today.  That was 7 years ago.  Since then, her adrenals started to fail and the prednisone was keeping it at normal levels.  Unfortunately, this so called miracle steroid has caused so many medical problems plaguing her to this day.  It’s put her into congestive heart failure.  Doctors gave her medicine.  Migraines, Cushing’s disease, and Neuropathy are just a few more.  She was also given prescriptions to mask them.  Her pain comes from a disease called Avascular Necrosis (AVN).  It is basically deadening of the bone.  Her hips and possibly her back have been affected by AVN.  She now uses a walker because some days she is unable to walk and lays in bed to ease the pain.  Doctors prescribed Morphine and Oxycodone together to help with the pain but doesn’t take it fully away.  These two medicines alone are very harmful to the body.  Angie is in serious pain. I see it every day and I just can’t do anything to take it away for her.  Her Adrenals are imminently in danger of total failure if she stops taking prednisone but this miracle drug and all these other medicines (8 prescriptions) are deteriorating her body and will cause damage and possibly failure to vital organs which can lead to a bad outcome.  I need your help please.  Doctors have basically given up and gave her meds to mask and not heal.  They can’t even give her a prognosis.  Her future is in jeopardy.  Angie needs proper medical attention.  She needs doctors who know what to do and give her full attention.  I can’t do this on my own.  Angie and I would be so grateful for your donations.  I can’t thank you enough for taking your time to read her story.   God bless you.
