Jamie Mitchell-McRae needs our help

I'm writing to all of you because we have one thing in common. We all love and care for Jamie and her kids. As many of you know, Jamie has been having a super rough time over the past couple of years with her health, and due to this has been unable to work and even function in her daily life for months on end. This breaks my heart for her. For years Jamie has been the hardest working woman I know. Ever since I met her 15 years ago she has worked or gone to school to provide for herself and her family, sometimes holding 4 jobs at once. Most of you know that Jamie hasn't been the luckiest when it comes to her family. WE ARE HER FAMILY. And she needs us right now. She would never, ever, in a million years ask for help. So I am doing it for her. She may be mad at me for this, but I love her too much to sit by and not do anything to help her and my niece and nephew. She has too much pride and would be so humiliated to ever ask for help. So I am starting this go fund me page for her. I know her response would be that all she has left is a bit of pride and wants to keep it. For those that don’t know, Jamie has been diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitus. This is a chronic, incurrable, debilitating bladder disease which basically causes the lining of the bladder to become covered in ulcers which causes immense pain, nausea and vomiting, frequent UTI’s , blood in her urine, kidney infections and stones. Research has shown that IC has shown it causes a quaility of life similar to that of a cancer or kidney dialysis patient. It's extremely difficult to treat, Only half of poeople that suffer from this chronis disase can work full time. Jamie has also experienced dizziness, numbness in her hands and feet, weakness, dropped blood pressure, can’t sleep and because of all this is unable to eat, work, drive and basically live her life for herself and her kids. She has had numerous hospital visits and stays.  Like way too many. As I’m sure for most of us, not being able to work has had a tremendous financial impact for her and her kids. Jamie gets no health benefits and has to pay for all her expensive medication, she gets no help.  The stress, pressure, anxiety and shame she feels is overwhelming. She still has a house, 2 beautiful children, car and bills to pay. She would never ask for help. EVER. So I am doing it for her. Jamie is the kindest, sweetest, most generous woman we probably all know, who would do anything she could to help any of her friends. She has helped me in my life more times that I can count. Anything you can do to help her at this time would be so appreciated. Any amount, or prayers or words of love are appreciated. She needs us right now. Any funds raised would be used to help her catch up on things she hasn’t been able to keep up with since she has been sick, including her mortgage. This is the least I can do to try to help relieve some of the financial pressure she is under at the moment until we can get this nasty disease under control and she can get back to work.
