Justin's Home Going
Donation protected
Thank you everyone for your outpouring of love, care, concern, and overall support during this difficult 14 months.
On April 13, 2017 at 4:30 pm, our DETERMINED FIGHTER won his brave fight with leukemia and spread his wings to the arms of Jesus. We say won, because, Justin is now with our heavenly Father; which is the ultimate reward. Justin is no longer in pain; and although his pain was excruciating beyond words, his FAITH was STRONGER. Justin never lost his faith, and believed in God to the very end. He is truly a hero and an example to all of us. Justin, in his short 13 years, touched and impacted so many lives; most noticeably his parents (Leon and Lakeshia) brothers (D'Markis, Leon III, Jehlan), his grandmothers (Bathsheba and Melvenia), godparents (Sean and Erika Blanchard.), Aunties and Uncles (Walter, David and Desiree, Fleshia Phillips, Nathaniel and A. Faye Wright, Miles J. Carter, Nathan Harvey, Glenn and Marsha Harris. Ronnyta Renee, Ayanna Haysberg- Wright, Ms. Vanessa Franklin, Anthony and Sabrina Mays, Sean and Lorianna Gardere, Brenton Eddens), his Bible Way Family (Pastor Oscar and Janice Dace and Pastor Ray and Shirley Brown), his basketball family, classmates, and countless others. Justin left behind so many wonderful and lasting memories; touching many people with his infectious smile and sense of humor.
As you can imagine, this is an extremely challenging and difficut time for the family. Lakeshia quit her job upon his first relapse staying by his side every step of the way.
We, respectfully, ask for consideration and privacy for the family during this time. Please continue to contact Sean and Erika Blanchard for any and all inquires. Justin's homegoing services are planned for May 13th at Bible Way Christian Center in San Jose, CA. Additional information pertaining to the time will be posted and provided to everyone once the final logistics are in place.
