The Chicago Home Visiting Nurses are asking for your generous support to assist us in raising funds for our dear friend and colleague. It’s entitled the “DRIVE FOR ESTHER & FAMILY”.
Esther has been a long standing fixture in the community. She has been a home visiting nurse with for over 20 years. The focus of her work has been to care for “high risk” infants released from Chicago area hospitals.
Unfortunately, on Sunday, June 10, 2018 Esther’s family was faced with an awful tragedy. As a result of this tragedy one of her daughter Bourk, as well as her 7yr old grand-daughter Olivia were murdered in the confinement of their own home. Esther is currently caring for the remaining two siblings of that household (a 14yr old male and 3yr old female).
Therefore, we have initiated this “DRIVE FOR ESTHER & FAMILY” to help raise at least $5,000.00 to assist the family in taking care of any needs that may arise during this difficult time.
