Hollie Hoover and Onyx

Hello All! My name is Brittany McGill and a dear friend of mine and her dog were almost taken from us recently and we are looking for some help.  Our beautiful Hollie was almost taken from us Monday June 13th. She was in a horrible car accident on Interlake Road, her truck rolled multiple times and we are all thanking the Lord that she is still with us today! Hollie was rushed to Sierra Vista Monday afternoon and was immediately in surgery to repair her broken right leg. While in surgery they discovered that her right ankle was shattered into 15 different pieces, 4 broken ribs, it took 18 stitches in her face to repair the wounds, and her right eye was swollen shut. Before going into surgery she asked, "where's my dog?"
Onyx (her amazing loving dog that she had adopted a few months back) was also in the truck with Hollie at the time of the accident. Onyx helped first responders locate Hollie as her truck was down the hill out of the view of the road. Once first responders were removing Hollie from the smashed vehicle Onyx ran off, scared and hurt! Brenda (Hollies Mom) was determined to find Onyx, knowing that with Onyx by Hollie's side she would pull through and fight through the long recovery process. Immediately we shared Onyx's photo on social media and flyers were made. Tuesday morning Onyx was found but he was badly hurt, with a dislocated hip the vets have determined that he will need to undergo surgery with costs estimating $3,000.
Hollie will also have to undergo more surgerys to repair her ankle.
We thank the Lord above that both Hollie and Onyx are still with us today and we are reaching out to family and friends to please donate whatever you can to help cover the surgery costs for Onyx and living expenses for Hollie during her recovery. Hollie will be unable to return to work for quiet some time and she needs our help.
Through this traumatic experience Hollie has fought and fought hard! Anyone close to her knows she doesn't give up! So let's show Hollie and Onyx some love and show that we won't stop fighting for them!!
