Crisis Support for Orlando

I’m asking you to join me with your sponsorship to provide expert professional crisis support services in the wake of the terrible tragedy in Orlando. As a (Nationally) Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress, there is a particular call for my expertise. However, there is no funding identified at this point to bring experts into the city and to cover expenses. I’m going anyway, as it’s clear that expertise in trauma is very needed there especially among the GLBT community, as well as for direct line care providers (doctors, nurses, counselors, law enforcement, etc.) I’m financing the expenses myself, hopefully with some support from you. I’m asking if you may help to sponsor some trip expenses, including airfare, lodging, food, therapy materials, trauma information and such expenses. All donations will go directly to this endeavor, and any excess funds will be donated directly to the organizations in Orlando that will be continuing to help victims and their families in this tragedy. I’m very pleased to be bringing my expertise where it is needed and will donate my time and whatever expenses don’t get covered this way.
