Chloe's Big Treatment

Donation protected

I asked Chloe to put in her own words her story that has led her to this decision to seek treatment at C.H.I.P.S.A. for us to read. She needs our help to give her this opportunity and not take the words "there is nothing else we can do for you" as a final result. Help me to help our beautiful Chloe Thompson!
For two and half years, since the age of 19 my second home has been crisp white hospitals inside the US after being diagnosed with stage 4 inoperable melanoma. I have endured 6 extensive surgeries that have left me feeling like a puzzle with too many missing puzzle pieces to enjoy, 4 extensive clinical trials that have left me with terminal medical conditions, chemo therapy, and last month a "last resort" complete transplant of my immune system that left me neutropenic. I'm not sharing any of the above with the public as a form of a pity party but rather to help explain why I have decided to take matters into my own hands and leave the US for my care. While wonderful in the ways they "legally" can be, the doctors here have left me feeling alone and hopeless. All of the treatments I have endured have left me worse than I started and after the hope of a full transplant failed when four weeks post transplant my scans showed an ungodly amount of tumors in my thighs, Buttocks, lymph nodes, abdomen, breasts, neck, and now my bones including my ribs, spine and hips it was obvious to me that what we call "conventional medicine" here in the US has turned out to be far from conventional. After watching three of my closest family members and confidants pass away to this disease and the treatments provided here, and now watching my own health continue to deteriorate I know my only option is to seek health elsewhere which means coming up with the funds on my own and not relying on my health insurance. The health system here has failed me and my doctors have said "we have nothing left for you". I feel that I must make something of that "nothing". My goal is to live, no matter the cost and if that cost is making the decision as a 22 year old female to cross the border into Tijuana to receive top of line help then so be it. I will receive an extensive treatment at C.H.I.P.S.A hospital where they call themselves "the cure for cancer". They have built their practice in a place where medicines actually proven to cure cancer are legal. Nothing but success stories come from this facility along with the well known Bailey O'brien who has gone through such a similar story as mine it's bone chilling. As much as this journey has taught me to feel blessed and thankful to see each and every day, I am ready to be cancer free unfortunately that comes with a heavy financial burden. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read about my life. More information on my treatment can be found at www.chipsahospital.org and one of the many success stories can be read about at www.baileyobrien.com. God is good.
