Rebuilding the Hart Family Home

On July 10th 2015 the home of Judith Hart and her 3 generation family suffered a severe house fire. The family was unharmed in the blaze, but lost everything including some pets. Times were really tough before the fire and their fire insurance policy was not up to date. The estimated cost to rebuild was over $350K. Thanks to the generosity of a strong and compassionate community a pervious GoFundMe raised enough to start the rebuild. In addition an amazing philanthropist contractor not only donated his time and skills, but sought out others to donate time and materials. With the project underway funds are still needed to bring it to completion.
Judith is a beloved teacher at Evergreen elementary school, active in the community, has a kind heart & would do anything for a friend or neighbor in need. For the past six years Judith has struggled to support and care for her mother and family on a teacher’s salary. When her mother died Judith had to pay for all funeral burial cost. Her son Che works part-time and is the lead member of D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students) a volunteer organization of fathers who support Shoreline schools. Judith, Che, Jessica and 3 grandchildren still reside together in a Parkwood rental in Shoreline.
