Hello friends and family. Our names are Melissa and Chandler and this is our story.
We are a very loving and happy couple with two awesome dogs, but now we want to open up our wonderful and happy home to a child. We want to share our love and joy for each other with a baby that we can enjoy raising.
As most of you know we have tried IUI's intra uterine inseminations, IVF, fertility pills and shots and on January 25th we finally got the call we had been waiting for. WE WERE FINALLY PREGNANT!!
We were so happy and wanted to tell everyone, but we told a few family members and decided we were going to wait until the end of the first trimester to tell everyone else, but unfortunately on Valentines Day we found out the heartbeat was gone and we were going to miscarry yet again. We have decided not to give up and our fertility clinic offers an embryo donation program and we have decided that we would like to pursue that route or try IVF one last time. We are asking for some help with this so that we can have a beautiful family. Any amount would be appreciated and we would be very thankful as this has already forced us to take a loan out, use our savings and use credit cards for the previous treatments.
Now a few words from Chandler...
When I married Melissa on August 9th, 2010 I knew that our future would include children. There was never a doubt about that. We started pursuing that dream pretty shortly thereafter the wedding and have since come across unexpected roadblocks. These roadblocks have been emotionally devastating to the both of us and have created tons of unnecessary pressure in our relationship. However, our love for one another has remained undamaged and that is keeping us positive and giving us the ability to keep pursuing our family goals.
The embryo adoption program seems perfectly suited for us based on our past experiences and short-comings. It gives me hope that we can still have a child of our own together and I'm not going to stop at anything to try it. Any donations towards this cause will come with great appreciation from the both of us. Regardless of the outcome of this next endeavor, I will always love my wife. I just want to be able to give her the one missing link in our lives right now. Thank you.
