Educating children in Cambodia

TO OUR FAMILY, FRIENDS AND BUSINESS ASSOCIATES
On a recent trip to Cambodia Carol and I could not help but notice the many people living in abject poverty, particularly families living in rural villages.
We visited a number of rural villages and experienced first-hand the hardships these people have to deal with day by day, with no ending in sight.
In particular, we were deeply touched by the many children attending community based schools run by private Charities/ Foundations. If not for such schools most children in Cambodia would not even receive a basic education.
One such Foundation we visited was the JB Foundation in Siem Reap, Cambodia which Carol and I intend to financially support from time to time.
Our support and hopefully with the support of others will help to purchase the bricks and mortar for a modest but necessary extension to accommodate the increasing number of children wishing to attend.
