Carter was involved an a tractor/suv accident  near Parkersburg on May 9.  He was ejected from the tractor cab and landed in a ditch.  Carter was transported by ambulance from the scene to Allen hospital where he received great care.  They were unable to treat his brain bleed or his eye injury so they tranferred him to Mayo Clinic in Rochester.  Carter has a collapsed lung, 9 broken ribs on his right side, facial fractures, broken clavicle, a lacerated liver, and an eye that may need some surgery.  He is on a breathing tube and they have allowed him to come out of sedation.  He is able to shake his head, grasp hands, etc.  That is all great news!

I am trying to raise money for Carter's family as they will have an extended stay in Rochester, MN and will need some lodging, food, etc.  Please take the time to donate any amount of money to help them stay and help get Carter back on the healing path.
