Evang.Charles Okoli and Mr. Ikenna Okoli

The month of September 2020 is one that this family will not forget in a hurry. A double tragedy befell the Okoli family through the loss of their beloved Father (Evang. Okoli)and son/brother (Ikenna)within a space of 2 weeks in September. The sequence of this tragedy started on the 6th day of September with the news of Ikenna getting involved in a fire incident that ravaged more that two-thirds of his body. This fire was caused by another person’s carelessness. Our family swung into action and exhausted our savings in an attempt to save his life. During this trying period, Their beloved father, Evang. Charles Okoli succumbed to the cold hands of death. Evang.Okoli was bedridden for over two and half years due to a medical condition which drained the resources of the family. To compound the family grief, Ikenna also succumbed to the cold hands of death 2 weeks after the death of their father Ikenna was the eldest of 2 sons and the bread winner of his family. Mr Ikenna Ifeanyichukwu was just a vibrant 36-year-old who has just began his life. He left behind a 4 month pregnant young wife and a 5 year old son. The Okoli family has been thrown into a devastating and unbearable pain of losing a father and a son within a space of two weeks.
