It is with great sadness and disbelief that we announce the sudden and very unexpected passing of Dominic Awasum aka "Grand Dom" at only 39 years old after a very brief illness.
Dominic passed away at George Washington hospital on May 3rd 2020
Dominic leaves behind his loving wife Vera, and a host of family members to mourn him.As you can imagine Vera is devastated by the loss of her amazing husband.
Dominic was a very special person with a heart of gold. He would light up any room he entered with his warm smile, kind words, and the way he treated everyone he met including his customers.He loved and cared deeply for everyone around him whether it was his family, friends, or co-workers and he never held back in showing his feelings for us all. Family was the utmost importance to him, they were his motivation for how he conducted business and carried himself at all times.
Vera is need of any and all support we can give during this time of grieving.This loss of her husband creates a huge financial burden as Dominic was the back bone of his family.
During this time Vera will need help with funeral expenses, daily living expenses, mortgage, utilities, and all of the other necessities that come with giving a husband a befitting burial. The funds will help out tremendously, while Vera and the rest of Dominic's family try to work out the intricate details of day to day life without Dominic
This loss is deeply personal, which makes us realize that there is no one that can ever make us feel the way he did....as though we were in the presence of greatness.
