Who are we? The Miss Bergen County and Miss Ramapo Valley Scholarship Programs are official preliminaries to the Miss America Competition.
Julie, Lori, and Elise have been serving as local directors/volunteers for the Miss Bergen County and Miss Ramapo Valley Pageants since 1995. The program is run completely by volunteers and is 100% not for profit. In addition, we also run the Miss Bergen County and Miss Ramapo Valley Outstanding Teen Pageants, which are official preliminaries to the Miss America Outstanding Teen Pageant.

Why do we do it? We have had the opportunity to meet, mentor and be inspired by, dozens of amazing women who have gone on to do remarkable things with their lives. Engineeers, Lawyers, Judges, Doctors, Professors, and Professional Entertainers are just some of the professions our past winners are currently enjoying. We have heard from many of these women that their involvement with local programs such as Miss Bergen County and Miss Ramapo Valley played a significant role in their current successes. Aside from being afforded scholastic opportunities through earned scholarships, talents were honed, interview skills were acquired and confidence was built!
Why are we asking you to donate? As a non profit , volunteer run program, we rely solely on the generosity of our donors to fund the compettions and award scholarship.
$10, $20, $50 - Any Amount is Greatly Appreciated!
How much do we need? In order to run these 4 local pageants we need to raise $4000 in funds just to cover operating costs. As a contributor, you will be helping fund 4 young women's dream of becoming the next Miss America! Every dollar counts!
How much can you donate? As a contributor you can make a general contribution where your name will be listed in the program book or you can choose to be a designated sponsor of a specific prize. Individual prize sponsors are recognized in the program book and on stage as the sponsor of that prize.

We are just a few North Jersey volunteers trying to keep this program alive! As previously stated, we have been privileged to work with and mentor some absolutely amazing women. Most have gone on to do remarkable things and we'd like to believe that their involvement in the Miss Bergen County/ Ramapo Valley Programs have contributed to their successes!

PS- This year's Miss Bergen County and Ramapo Valley Pageant will be held on August 12th at 5:00 pm at the Fair Lawn Community Center. 4 new titleholders will be crowned. Tickets will be on sale at the door!
