Help Support Julie's recovery

Hi my name is Julie. Just as I'm preparing for my husband's third year of being in heaven February 18th this year I get hit with the news January 4th that I have been diagnosed with cervical spinal stenosis. This condition affects my nerves it is cut off the nerves to my hands causing them to be stiff very numb and hard for me to hold anything. My right leg constantly feels as if it is on fire my left leg drags the ground if you didn't know me you would think I was drunk because I'm constantly bumping into the walls and staggering about as I attempt to walk. January 15th was my last day of work until further notice you see I'm a caregiver and I'm used to doing for others I'm not used to having people take care of me. I have been assured but my doctor Andrew Melby at Emory that I'm in the best of hands I have been scheduled for surgery February 14th 2023 for my neck and upper back . I was told by him that I would be out of work for at least 4 to five months I don't know if this includes Rehabilitation and me having to wear neck brace. I was in the bathroom the other day with my four-year-old granddaughter and she was watching me fumble around with the toothpaste and she said Nana you need to get some new hands and I told her no I don't baby because God is going to fix the ones that I already have . I am asking for help with medical Rehabilitation food and mortgage. I want to thank you all in advance for your help it is hard for me to do this but may God bless you and your family
