Maddie’s 2nd Set Of Fancy Pants

Hello everyone, my name is Melanie and I am lucky enough to be the auntie to this amazing little girl Madison. As most of you will remember, Maddie had her first surgery for hip dysplasia last year at this time. She was a fighter from the start and rocked her time in her spica cast and brace like a champ. Of course there were a lot of challenges, but it hasn’t stopped her! She is a sassy, spunky, happy little girl who just loves life. Fast forward to last week when she needed her second surgery and spica cast. This little girl has gone through so much as her case is very severe, and her surgery this time was much more extensive. She has been having a harder time this round so far, being that much older and wanting to move but being restrained in her cast:(. She has had too many moments of being terrified with her new reality, panic, pain and just being lost losing her independence or control. She needs her parents, but sometimes real life doesn’t allow for that. Unfortunately, to have the 24/7 care that she requires makes it difficult for mommy and daddy to get to work. Little Maddie doesn’t understand that there are still bills piling up, and food to buy, and gas for the numerous trips to the hospital which is hours away. She just knows she needs mommy and daddy. A LOT!! Many many people have asked how to help, so I’m starting this fund for a place for people to give what they would like. Anything will help Kylie and Trevor with daily expenses, while they are able to focus on taking care of Maddie. Luckily, amazing employers allow the time to be spent with their daughter, but there is no government finding to support them at all. I want to help them a little more with some peace of mind to take away some of the financial stress that comes with these next few months.
