There are so many great and worthy charities out there, I appreciate you learning more about this one. 

I have made it my mission to raise money and awareness for the Child Advocacy Center of Carroll County this year. 

Why: Imagine a child you know, or worse a grandson or daughter, who is a victim of abuse. Unthinkable on any level. Then that child needs to be interviewed, needs to go through an investigation, needs to go to trial, all while dealing with the abuse. Unimaginable. 

This is where the Child Advocacy Center of Carroll County comes in. They are a 501©3 organization committed to aiding in the investigation and prosecution of crimes against children while minimizing the trauma that child victims and their families endure. 

The focus of my fund raising is around my unique event. A 1K walk through downtown Wolfeboro.  I am promoting it as high impact / low time commitment charity event.  Please don’t let the lack of physical challenge diminish the importance of the cause. We will have a lot of fun for an afternoon, but the cause will hopefully benefit greatly from our generosity. 

I have created this page for those who can’t participate in the 1K but are willing to join me in sending our support he Advocacy Center and those families / children who benefit from it. 

No amount is too small (or too big).
