My name is Leonard. I moved to Texas last year and live a few hours outside of Houston.
Being so close to the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey, it's just too hard for me to roll up my window, look at my cell phone, and pretend I don't see the "Anything helps" sign.
I have decided to rent a U-haul and personally bring water, food, and clothes to those affected. No bureaucracy, no profit calculations. Just aid as simple as bringing food and supplies to those down the road. Hand to hand.
Every donation will go directly to helping a real person who has suffered from this natural disaster.
