13.1 miles & $1,310 for Kylie

As many of you may know, the world recently faced the loss of the beloved Kylie Murray. I have read countless stories and tributes in her name, and from that, I have gathered the following: she was a bright light, a best friend, a loved daughter, and a fantastic pilot.

I was blessed to have made a handful of memories with Kylie alongside our best friend, Kate Shroyer. Because of their special friendship, I have seen just how positively she impacted the lives of those around her. With this, I am dedicating my upcoming half marathon race to Kylie. Kylie's flight school recently announced a memorial scholarship fund in her name called the "Kylie Murray Memorial Flight Training Scholarship" – by race day (April 30th), I am hoping to fundraise $1,310 to be donated towards this scholarship ($100 dollars for each mile).
