Blankets for Buddies

Hello! My name is Emily Sharpe. I started collecting stuffed animals and making fleece blankets to go with them in December 2013. I donate these "buddies" to local fire/police stations and hospitals. These are then given out to kids in difficult situations, such as fires, medical emergencies, and domestic violence.
So far, I have donated 151 buddies. I have been fortunate to be able to hold several stuffed animal drives, however, my biggest expense remains buying fleece to make the "security blankets". Each blanket costs about $4 to make. I recently received a generous donation of stuffed animals from Petsmart and now I'm in need of fleece to make blankets.
The future recipients and I thank you very much for your contribution to this project.
