Law School for fathers rights
Donation protected
The child custody laws in New York are not fair to fathers and their children and all too often fathers are left to be considered nothing more than a wallet for the mother. The unfairness and gender bias that exists within the laws, or lack of laws, in New York State must end. Too many fathers are being left broke, jailed and almost homeless. My desire is to create a law practice in the field of family law where I can represent fathers as well as work towards legislative reform in the area of father's rights. I will work Pro Bono for those fathers that can no longer continue the fight because the biased courts have drained them of everything they had!

I am a 46 year old divorced dad. Pursuing a law school degree. A career in law is something I have always wanted and for various life reasons have not pursued in earnest until now. I am curtrently a letter carrier with the United States Postal Service and have been for 22 years. I am in my 2L year at Touro Law School in Central Islip, N.Y. as a part time evening student in the four year program.

Why fund me? Father's rights need to be addressed and the sooner the better. Working 51 hours a week at the Postal Service seriously impacts my school work and the time I can spend with my 16 year old daughter. I have two and a half years until I can graduate (December 2016) and can sit for the Bar Exam in February 2017. The base pay for a letter carrier is $57,000. Your donations will assist me to be able to concentrate on obtaining my law degree and passing the New York State Bar Exam as well as being able to spend time with my daughter.
Please remember, by helping me you will be helping thousands of fathers in New York that are suffering at the hands of family court, are being prevented from seeing their children, are being left penniless and in some cases even incarcerated!
