Special Day of Flying
I am doing a 10k walk around Lucan as Mrs Brown with a big bunch of blue balloons in hand for my four children with autism with my final part of the challenge I will face my greatest fear, my phobia, a flight in a light aircraft or helicopter.
I am doing this to raise much needed funds to go towards the Special Day of Flying which takes place on Saturday the 7th of July in Newcastle Aerodrome to make the day as magical for the children with disabilities as I can.
I’m trying to organise items to make up goodie bags for all the special flyers on the day and entertainment / fun for their families on the ground.
As parents / families of children with special needs we don’t get many days of pure acceptance, love and fun. A day of laughter and smiles where the skies above us are filled with pure love, a day that from the ground to the tip top of the sky is filled with acceptance.
If you could sponsor me even a euro or two I’d be so very grateful.
If you would like to donate bags of jellies, lolly pops, party favours etc that could fill these bags for the special flyers, all donations are very welcome. No matter how big or small every little helps.
