Gift from Autophagy Editors in memory of Lisa R. Klionsky
Lisa R. Klionsky, beloved wife of Dan Klionsky, passed away on Oct. 30, 2024. Many of us met Lisa at meetings she would attend with Dan.

As friends and colleagues of Dan, this is an opportunity to give a memorial gift to a charity that was important to his life partner. I hope this is a fitting memorial to Lisa and her life, and a small consolation to Dan.

I will forward all the names of donors to Dan. GoFundMe will automatically send the donation to The Women’s Center of Southeastern Michigan, which is a listed charity through them.

Our services address gender inequity –- and with it, other kinds of discrimination (e.g., economic, racial, citizen status, sexual orientation, disability) -– that disadvantage more than 50% of our population. In addition to women, we serve transgender folks and men. Our designated service area is approximately a 60-mile radius, touching 7 Michigan counties and northwestern Ohio.
