Help Us Celebrate 60 Years of Impact & Honor Peter DeBiasi's Legacy at Access Community Action Agency

This year marks a monumental milestone for Access Community Action Agency (Access) – our 60th anniversary! For six decades, Access has been a vital resource, helping families and individuals overcome challenges, achieve self-sufficiency, and build brighter futures. We’ve provided life-changing support through case management, energy assistance, and pathways to other economic stability.

As we celebrate this incredible legacy, we also bid farewell to our beloved CEO/President, Peter DiBiasi, who is retiring after years of visionary leadership. Peter’s dedication and commitment have shaped Access into what it is today, and his impact will be felt for years to come.

To honor Peter’s incredible contributions and to ensure that Access can continue its mission for the next 60 years, we are launching this fundraising campaign. Our goal is to raise $60,000 to support our programs and help us continue serving our community in meaningful ways.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help us enhance our services, expand our reach, and keep making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

In collaboration with Remote Area Medical®, Access Agency, and UConn Medical Clinic Club we are hosting a pop up medical clinic to provide free dental, vision and medical care to as many individuals as possible.

We are looking for monetary support to help offset the cost of the clinic and any donations would be greatly appreciated to ensure all care is free for patients.

Please join us in making a difference for Crossroads! Crossroads is an eight-bed residential program that serves male and female adolescents between the ages of 16 and 20 years and is administered by Access Community Action Agency. These youth are at the point in their lives where they need to learn and practice the critical skills necessary to succeed once they are living on their own. This program that is located in Norwich, Connecticut, is a community-based transitional living apartment program that strives to empower young adults to reach their full potential

We are asking our community to help raise money to make needed improvements making this house a better home for our youth in need. Your generosity can help facilitate and complete the laundry list of repairs this house needs. Unlike many fundraisers, this one is specific to this property – and it needs you. We cannot meet the necessary repairs without your help.

Parker Place Senior Housing in Tolland, Connecticut, is a special community built for seniors aged 62 and older. Our mission is to provide affordable, well-maintained housing that allows residents to live independently while feeling supported and safe.

Located in the beautiful town of Tolland, Parker Place is close to medical facilities, recreational areas, and major roads like I-84, making it a perfect spot for seniors who want peace of mind while staying connected to essential services.

We are committed to ensuring our residents live in a comfortable, welcoming environment that promotes well-being and independence. But we need your help to continue offering this vital resource to our senior community. Your donation will go directly toward supporting the upkeep of the facility, improving amenities, and ensuring Parker Place remains a safe, affordable, and welcoming home for seniors in need.
