Sparks 4-H Tech Club

With your help, we'll be able compete at the VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas, TX in April 2023, and reach 300+ students with hands-on STEM activities throughout 2023. We're run by volunteers, so 100% of your donation will go directly to support the kids and our programs.

Your gift will be used to purchase the tools, parts, batteries, and accessories for our outreach programs, as well as pay the registration fees for the World Championship.

For more than a decade, our 4-H Club in Carroll County, MD has sponsored a VEX Robotics team known as "The Super Sonic Sparks". We're a small, but scrappy, team made up of some of the smartest, hardest working kids you'll find. Team members are respected for their innovation, technical ability, and amazing results which include qualifying for the VEX Robotics World Championship each of the last 15 years (except for that one year due to Covid).

With all that success, the thing that still makes our mentors and parents most proud is the thoughtfulness, kindness, work ethic, and generosity of our team members. Each month, they give back to their community by mentoring 30+ kids through our 4-H Club. They also provide summer mini-camps, special events, and hands-on STEM opportunities throughout the year.
