The California wildfires continue, and you can help with the incredible efforts to rescue and treat animals that have been effected.  Please donate a few dollars, and please share this campaign, because we need the help right now!  Friends and Family, I really, really, need you to share this post along with donating.  The need is urgent!

My friends at Rocket Dog Rescue quietly and humbly asked for a donation to facilitate costs for veterinary care, pet supplies, and other necessities to continue their amazing efforts getting animals to safety in these devastated areas.  I decided to do more than that by starting this.  This incredible group of humans is traveling to some hard hit areas to collect injured and lost animals, get appropriate medical care for those that are injured, leaving  behind food, buckets of water, and helping to reunite pets with their devastated families.  Many do this and get up in the morning to do their day job, and then go on to animal rescue day after day as these fires have continued.  I hope I can count on you for some cash.  Please share!

Hi! I am Libbe Simonsen.

On July 2, 2016 I will be called to the Torah as a Bat Mitzvah. As part of my Tikkun Olam project, I have to make the world a better place. Tikkun Olam is a jewish concept defined by acts of kindness performed to perfect or repair the world.

I am very passionate about an organization, Rocket Dog Rescue.  Rocket Dog means a lot to me because I believe all dogs deserve to have safe homes where they can be happy. Part of what they do is rescue dogs from dangerous situations and overcrowded shelters all over the Bay Area. So far, they have found homes for almost 8,000 dogs! I am asking for donations for the dogs that haven't been adopted who need to be neutered, spayed, and get other shots from the vet. I will also be doing a drive for dog supplies such as sheets, bowls, and leashes. 

Between now and May 31, an anonymous donor has generously agreed to match any donations up to $25,000! As part of this drive, I hope to raise at least $5,000 to help the dogs at Rocket Dog!
