Hi, we are raising funds for Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF). Our 6 year old daughter, Hailey, was diagnosed in February a week after losing her young uncle prematurely to blood pressure medication complications.
Be careful if taking ACE inhibitors, even if you've been on them without issue for a while. Watch for symptoms including mouth swelling and breathing difficulties.
Hailey has been a trooper with her newest challenge and wants to help others with their challenge, and to fight to never have another face it.
We are running a yard sale and selling lemonade in Wolfeboro, NH this weekend and donating all proceeds to juvenile diabetes research in Hailey's, and her uncle, Dave's, names. We would like to add any donation you might make to all of our proceeds to this worthy cause.
Together, we can make a meaningful impact in the lives of those affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D). Breakthrough T1D is dedicated to improving lives by accelerating breakthroughs to cure, prevent, and treat T1D and its complications. Since its inception, Breakthrough T1D has invested over $2.5 billion in research funding, uniting communities, researchers, and advocates to create innovative solutions for those living with this condition.
Your support helps Breakthrough T1D make a difference by contributing towards efforts like:
- Funding critical research to discover new treatment options and potential cures for T1D.
- Providing educational resources and support for families navigating life with T1D.
- Advocating for policies that enhance access to care and improve the quality of life for individuals with T1D.
Please join me in this vital cause. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us closer to a world without T1D. Thank you for your support!
