Go Gold for Kids with Cancer
WHO WE ARE:
Scott Delgadillo lost his life to childhood cancer when he was 14 years old. The Friends of Scott Foundation was created soon after, to honor him -- and it has become our lifelong passion to support its mission - to help children with cancer and their families. We ensure they receive the emotional and financial support needed to cope with this devastating disease. FOS strives to bring Childhood Cancer Awareness to the community and we can use your help in these times of uncertainty.
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT NOW?
September is designated as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month to acknowledge the thousands of children and their families who are dealing with a cancer diagnosis, raise awareness about the reality of childhood cancer, and emphasize the importance of research. Childhood cancer remains the leading cause of death by disease for children under the age of 14. There is no better time of year to make a difference! Please Support the Friends of Scott so that we can continue the work we are passionate about-helping kids with cancer.
WHERE WILL YOUR FUNDS GO?
Your funds will support many of our amazing programs for kids with cancer:
* Unforgettable Prom for Teens with Cancer
* Childrens' Carnival for Kids with Cancer at Rady Children's Hospital Peckham Center
* Holiday Party and Pajama Drive
* Padres Day at the Park
* Ready to Read Program
* Holiday Toy Drive and Party
* Adopt a Family Program
* Special Dreams Project for those kids with a very special wish....and SO MUCH MORE!

ANY donation will help make an impact.
A heartfelt thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to all the kids and their families we serve.
