Chabad at the Waterways

My father in law just passed away and Its a very emotional time for the whole family. Isaac was very much a family oriented man, always concerned for his family’s well being.

He was very organized, in the recent years he was at all times concerned to make sure he left his wife financially secure so she wouldn’t have to worry about her well being in old age, unfortunately things didn’t come out exactly as he had planned, we want to provide some help for her in every way we can, It would be of great help to cover any expenses, this is a great mitzvah opportunity to give her some peace of mind to go through this hard times. Many of us got to know Yarden (Jordan) during the time he spent with us and our community here in Aventura. Anyone who spent even a moment with Yarden knew instantly that he was a sweet, kind, and special soul, with an inner goodness that radiated outwardly and enhanced the life of each person he interacted with. We and his beautiful family lost Yarden this week, far too soon.

I have chosen to launch this campaign in Yarden’s memory, and in his honor. It is important to know that his family did not request this, no one suggested it, and no one asked for it. It is entirely of my own volition, and exclusively to give each of us a chance to do a good deed by donating selflessly to his funeral costs. We should have in mind that our donation should act as a blessing and merit for Yarden’s beautiful soul.

100% of every dollar raised will go directly to the family of Yarden, to alleviate the burden of funeral costs, which can be in the tens of thousands of dollars, and to assist in the many other costs that arise from the loss of a husband, father, and support pillar for a family. All funds will be directed through GoFundMe to Chabad Waterways, who will disburse the funds to Yarden’s widow.
