Calvin's Paws, a 501(c)(3) cat rescue, is fundraising to pay for recent vet expenses, restock our depleted medical supplies, and cover cat care expenses for the rest of 2024. All donations go to the care of the cats in our program. We are a completely volunteer organization; no one gets paid a salary.

This year has been particularly hard for our organization, as it has been for many small rescues. Donations are down; requests for help are up. With the growing number of cats needing our help, we are reaching out to our community for support. 1. **Medical Care:** From routine vaccinations and spaying/neutering to emergency surgeries and long-term treatments, medical care is one of our most significant expenses. We have upcoming surgeries for mama cat Peanut and her 5 kittens, and bloodwork and medication needs for The Mountain. Your support ensures that every cat receives the necessary medical attention to lead a healthy life.
2. **Shelter and Supplies:** We desperately need to replenish our supplies of FIV/FELV blood test kits, microchips, and flea treatments. Donations also supply our foster homes with food, litter, and bedding. Providing a safe, clean, and comfortable environment is crucial for the well-being of our cats.
3. **Adoption Programs:** We believe every cat deserves a loving home. Our adoption programs are designed to match cats with their perfect families, and your contribution helps us facilitate these adoptions, including home visits, follow-ups, and adoption events.
4. **Community Outreach:** Educating the public about responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying/neutering, and the benefits of adopting rather than shopping are key components of our mission. Donations support our outreach efforts and help us spread the word.

**Donate Today and Make a Difference!**
Not all of us can foster, so if you cannot foster, consider donating to help cover costs of those babies in foster care so that they get all they need to go to "college" (we call spay day college because surgery day makes them all get too nervous).
